Rob Stanborough

Rob Stanborough.jpgRob Stanborough received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 1998. In 2005, he earned a Master of Health Science, and in 2007, he earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Rob is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He is a Certified Manual Therapist, and is also certified in Augmented Soft Tissue Manipulation (ASTYM).

After several years of clinical experience, in a variety of settings and patient populations, Rob and his partner Jim Viti opened First Coast Rehabilitation in 2006, where they could see one patient at a time. 

In addition to his clinical work, Rob is an Instructor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, and teaches continued education courses to physical therapists both in the U. S. and abroad.  He has also authored Myofascial Manipulation: Theory and Application, 3rd Ed by ProEd Inc publishers.

Rob enjoys travel, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding.
