Jon-Erik Shanklin

Jon-Erik earned a BS in Exercise Science from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette in 2005, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009. He is a certified manual therapist, and received the Catherine Patla-Stanley Paris Award for Excellence in Manual Therapy.

Jon-Erik was a four-year team captain of the Ragin’ Cajun track and field team at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, where he received numerous all-conference honors. In 2004, he was ranked in the top 25 400-meter dash athletes in the U. S.

Jon-Erik treats patients with a range of orthopaedic diagnoses, including spine and extremity disorders.  In addition to his work as a manual therapist at First Coast Rehabilitation, Jon-Erik is also an assistant instructor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

He loves playing basketball and flag football, working out, and fishing.
